Hello to all lovers of Lebanese food in León, Guanajuato!
As you know, this blog is all about exploring the best our city has to offer. Today, I want to share my experience with a delivery option that pleasantly surprised me: Lebanese food delivery in León.
My Search for Lebanese Food in León
Even before the pandemic, I’d wanted to dedicate a space to reviewing restaurants, but the project was delayed due to everything we went through. Now that my husband and I work from home, we order food delivery in León at least once a week. During this time, I’ve had all kinds of experiences—for example, I definitely do NOT recommend Quecho Pizza a la Leña (twice, they sent me cold, hard pizza).
I usually go for pizza or sushi (the Sushi Oma on Didi Food, especially their crab-and-beef-stuffed rice balls, is a must-try!). But yesterday, thanks to an Uber Eats coupon, I decided to venture out. I’d been craving a good butter chicken or curry in León, but the combo deals didn’t convince me. That’s when my eyes landed on the Lebanese food option.
And to think—20 years ago, I tried Lebanese food for the first time at a party, a memory that sparked my love for this cuisine! Time really flies.
Review: El Líder Comida Libanesa in León, Gto. (Uber Eats)
The restaurant I chose on Uber Eats (which was open at the time) was El Líder Comida Libanesa. To try a bit of everything, I went for the large appetizer platter with five dishes for $250 pesos. Here’s what my feast included:
Falafel: 4 crispy, flavorful pieces.
Stuffed grape leaves: 4 pieces—my absolute favorite of the entire order!
Tabbouleh salad: Fresh and aromatic.
Lebanese potatoes: 150 grams of potatoes with a unique twist.
Kibbeh: 2 pieces of this classic Lebanese dish.
The order also came with pita bread. To use a discount coupon, I added Bride’s Fingers (puff pastry with pistachios, walnuts, and honey) for $115 pesos as dessert. Though my daughter wasn’t a fan, I loved them!

My Verdict on El Líder Comida Libanesa in León
After applying the discount and adding a tip, the total came to around $300 pesos. Though my husband had already eaten and my daughter didn’t like the desserts, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire large appetizer platter and one Bride’s Finger.
I definitely recommend it for a Lebanese food craving in León. While not the cheapest option, the quality and exceptional flavors make it worth it. The portions are small, but the large appetizer was more than enough for one person.
I did miss having a more liquid dressing like labneh or hummus (which I’m used to), but what won me over were the stuffed grape leaves. Plus, I hadn’t found Bride’s Fingers this delicious anywhere else in León! Without a doubt, El Líder Comida Libanesa in León is a fantastic option for exploring Middle Eastern cuisine via delivery.
