Jéssica de la Portilla Montaño is a Mexican writer and professional tarot reader, and the creator of ElTarotMx / Divinatory and Therapeutic Tarot. She offers private tarot readings in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, as well as remote consultations by phone and video call for clients in Mexico and abroad. Readings are available in both Spanish and English.
She has worked professionally with private tarot consultations since 2011. Her approach combines divinatory and therapeutic tarot, symbolic and archetypal analysis, guidance and direct conversation to help clients understand the situations they are experiencing more clearly and make decisions with greater clarity.

My story with tarot
Hello! My name is Jéssica de la Portilla Montaño.
I began reading tarot independently in 2011. What started as curiosity soon became a constant practice and, over the years, eventually became my full-time profession.
Over time, I also incorporated angel and archangel messages, along with symbolic, Jungian, spiritual and emotional analysis of the situations my clients bring to me.
I have worked with people of many different ages, backgrounds and circumstances. Many come to me at moments when they need to make sense of what is happening: a relationship they do not understand, a breakup, a difficult decision, a contract, uncertainty about work, or simply the need to look at a situation from another perspective. Others are simply curious or want to speak confidentially with someone who can listen without taking sides.
My style is direct, conversational and non-judgmental. I am not interested in simply telling someone what they want to hear. I prefer to speak clearly about what I see in the cards and, from there, help explore possibilities, patterns and decisions.
What is a consultation with me like?
During your reading, you can bring up the questions and situations you would like to explore. The consultation develops as a private conversation in which I use tarot cards as a tool for analysis, guidance and divination.
You do not need to know anything about tarot or prepare the “perfect” questions beforehand. You can simply explain what is happening, and together we can identify the areas and questions that may be useful to explore.
Tarot readings are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Their purpose is to provide guidance and an additional perspective for your personal decisions.
Online and in-person tarot readings
I currently offer in-person tarot readings in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, as well as remote consultations by phone and video call. I do not provide home visits or work through intermediaries, collaborators or third parties.
Remote readings allow me to work with clients in other cities, countries and time zones without requiring them to travel to León. I offer consultations in both English and Spanish.

Radio and digital media experience
For three years, I appeared weekly on Ponte al Tiro with Liberty Soto on Exa FM 104.1 León, where I presented live horoscopes and content related to astrology, tarot and spirituality. I was also an occasional guest on La Mejor FM 99.9 León.
I currently publish horoscopes, collective readings and other esoteric content on digital platforms, including my Spanish-language horoscopes on TikTok and my English-language horoscopes on Threads.
I am also a writer
In addition to my work as a tarot reader, I am a Mexican writer and the creator of TodoMePasa, my personal, literary and cultural website, active since 2007.
My short stories, microfiction, columns and other writings have appeared in literary magazines, anthologies, newspapers and other publications. I am also the author of books available on Amazon.
